| The ‘Starlite’ model range comprises the acclaimed ‘Helix’ (Spiral), ‘Turbo’
(In-Line IQF Tunnel) and the ‘HT’ (Hybrid Tunnel) design, which combine the ultimate in compactness
with a fully accessible stainless steel design, maintaining a freezer environment to the highest possible
hygienic standard. The ‘Starlite’ range is pre-assembled and tested in our factory for shipment to
site ready to plug into the factory services, thus reducing installation costs.
To meet the strict demands of the food industry in the 21st Century, the ‘Starlite’ range is
hygienic by design and manufactured from stainless steel, including the evaporator tubes that operate with
high efficiency allowing higher than usual refrigeration temperatures. This makes the machine economical
to run, thus reducing the freezing cost per kg of product. |

| The compact Starlite HT System incorporates the characteristics from both the Helix Spiral
and Turbo IQF Tunnel. It has a straight through conveyor belt, the appearance of an In-Line fluidised bed
tunnel, with the airflow and freezing characteristics of a Spiral system.
The modular units range from 6-10m in length and 2.2-2.6m in width. Capacities range from around 300
kg/hr of full freezing, for products such as fish fillets. Capacities for chilling, pre-hardening or
re-freezing can be up to 4000 kg/hr.
The HT is offered in a variety of forms with single, twin or triple belt systems and with horizontal or
vertical airflow depending on product type. The multi belt design could be used for different products at
once or as a re-circulating system.
The tunnel is very versatile and envisaged to process products such as vegetables, meat products, fish
fillets and other seafoods.
With the HT being custom made as modular systems. Separate units can be joined together for larger
capacities.
Because of its simple design, the HT is a low maintenance machine, low on operating costs and low on
capital investment – some 30% less than a spiral unit of the equivalent capacity.
