| The Starfrost Turbo 6 series “Clean Machine” is a two belt, IQF Freezing System which
is designed and manufactured to the highest specification. The fully welded, stainless steel, modular
design incorporates components and design features which have enabled the freezing tunnel to win awards
worldwide. The customer acclaimed Freezer enables you to individually quick freeze large quantities of
loose products like peas, beans, sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, cooked rice, french fries and fruits. |

| Operation |
An infeed conveyor system transports the product, in an even continuous, controlled layer
carefully onto the Turbo crust freezing belt. The crust freezing zone conditions the product by passing it
over conveyor tumbles to initiate true fluidisation and to redistribute the product. Simultaneously, cold
air is blown vertically upward through the belt and product. This process ensures a continuous separation
and fluidisation of individual product particles and, thus, a quick surface freezing operation. The
conditioned products are subsequently transferred to a second conveyor belt – operating at a slower
speed – for final freezing in a deep fluidised bed.

| Flexibility |
| Our controlled, careful product fluidisation process enables the Turbo Tunnel Freezing
system to handle a large variety of vegetables and fruits. Airflow and conveyor belt speeds are both
independently adjustable, thereby creating the best freezing environment for your quality products.
Effective IQF Freezing is achieved with both large and small products using our proven fluidisation
system. Wet and delicate products like strawberries and raspberries are carefully handled and remain
undamaged during the freezing process. |

| Enclosure tunnel measurements – height, length and width – will be specifically
designed according to the products being processed, your production target requirements and the floor area
available for installation. In effect, all freezer systems will be designed and built to meet your
individual needs, and to help maximise profit on your investment.

Star-D-Belt (Patented)
A Proven filter belt system to reduce product debris and heavy snow accumulation on the Turbo’s
evaporators. In effect, the Star-D-Belt increases operating cycles between each defrost and improves
hygiene.
Star-D-Belt-Advantages
- Heavy Snow and product debris do not block the airflow through the evaporators.
- No pre-cooled, dried high pressure air is required for cleaning evaporators during production
periods.
